It is hard to believe it has been more than 15 months since the world plunged into locked-down states to help flatten the COVID curve.

Masks are slowly being removed thanks to worldwide collaboration on COVID testing, vaccine discovery, production and distribution. There is greater hope on the horizon as vaccines are tested and approved for the pediatric population. This is in contrast to the Influenza pandemic in 1918 - the influenza virus was not successfully isolated until 1933, and the first influenza vaccine wasn’t used on a mass scale until 1944...

Operations During the Pandemic

OUCH Data: SPUC + ECG

The Organization for Urgent Care Health (OUCH) annual survey of pediatric urgent cares has an exciting announcement.  This year SPUC and ECG have partnered and are using the OUCH survey data to compile a national benchmarking report for pediatric urgent care! The OUCH 2020 survey was sent to leaders in July.  If you haven’t yet responded to the OUCH 2020 survey, please do so ASAP.  If you aren’t sure or didn’t receive an invitation to participate, email [email protected]

Look for the report highlights to be revealed during SPUC’s 7th Annual conference in September!
