Updating IE TLS Security Settings:

• Open Internet Explorer
• Go to the Tools menu on your computer (the icon shaped like a gear—just below the “X” to exit the program)
• Select Internet Options from the drop down menu
• Select the Advanced tab
• Find the item on the advanced menu that says Security
• There should be three items called “TLS” (1.0, 1.1, 1.2). Make sure the box next to these three items is checked and click Apply
• Close your browser and reopen Internet Explorer to refresh changes

Why did you choose the Pediatric Urgent Care field?
I enjoy the variety and immediate satisfaction of Urgent Care, and plan to pursue a career in Pediatric Urgent Care after residency.

Please list a few of your most recent accomplishments:
Current QI regarding better adherence to AAP Guidelines regarding Bronchiolitis Management.

Why did you join SPUC?
For more exposure to Urgent Care, conferences and news related to Pediatric UC.

Short Biography:
I am a 2nd year Pediatric Resident at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St Petersburg, Florida. I am interested in Pediatric Urgent Care as a future profession due to the variety of cases and immediate satisfaction/resolution with most Urgent Care visits. Currently my only exposure is through our Urgent Care department within our Emergency Room and I hope through being a member of SPUC, I will be exposed to how certain Pediatric Urgent Care centers function across the nation and be able to network with other Pediatric Urgent Care providers.
