Updating IE TLS Security Settings:

• Open Internet Explorer
• Go to the Tools menu on your computer (the icon shaped like a gear—just below the “X” to exit the program)
• Select Internet Options from the drop down menu
• Select the Advanced tab
• Find the item on the advanced menu that says Security
• There should be three items called “TLS” (1.0, 1.1, 1.2). Make sure the box next to these three items is checked and click Apply
• Close your browser and reopen Internet Explorer to refresh changes

A few months.

Why did you choose the Pediatric Urgent Care field?
I practiced in primary care and in the ER. Urgent care was the best mix and balance for me. Also I like working after hours.

Why did you join SPUC?
Networking. I like access to like minded people and other MDs in urgent care. it is easy when you are growing a business to just have your head down working and forget to look up and around and build professional relationships

Short Biography:
Undergrad and med school in Ca, UC davis and UC san diego respectively. finished pediatric residency in 200 at Oakland Children’s Hospital now Banioff Children’s in Oakland California. after 1 year as an attending in the Oakland children’s ambulatory department I moved out to Texas and joined a primary care practice in austin. Moved to Houston in 2003 worked for Texas Children’s outpatient then in the ER before starting NightLight Pediatric Urgent care in 2007. we opened for business in march of 2007 and are currently working on our 7th location in the greater Houston area.
